Come along to Bingo on Friday 4th March, from 7-9.30pm in the church hall. The first game starts at 7.30pm. Bring your own food. In the interval there will be refreshments for sale in aid of the Jamboree fund – hotdogs, cakes, tea, coffee. There will be a raffle. Tickets are available from leaders – £5 adults, £3 children under 14, family ticket £15 (2 adults, 2 kids).

Are you free on Thursday evenings? The scouts and explorer unit are looking for more leaders and helpers. Do you know anyone who might be interested?

Galaxy are looking to help small, local community based projects and community minded people through their Hot Chocolate Fund.
From 4th November 2013 for 16 weeks they are seeking to donate eighty £300 awards to help people or groups with their community programmes.
Each week 1st Highams Park scouts have a chance to win the peoples vote.  The £300 would be a fantastic contribution to the jamboree fund!

1st Highams Park shopping trolley key rings are available for £1.50 each, with proceeds going to the Jamboree fund.

Results were: Cubs Swimming 1st Place, Cub Non Swimming 5th Place, Overall Swimming and Non Swimming 2nd, Scouts Swimming 3rd Place, Scouts Non Swimming 3rd Place, Explorers 2nd overall. Well done to all our swimmers – Harrison, Tilly, Alice, Evie, Beau, Oscar, Daisy, Lucy, Kiera, Jess, Martha, Lily, Luke and Hollie.
