As part of the Highams Park Spring Festival, the Ulflag Viking Re-enactment Group came to Highams Park.
1st Highams Park beavers, cubs and scouts enjoyed the fantastic chance of a private gathering with the warriors as they set up camp and practised for the following day’s battle.
Despite a wet St Georges Day weekend in April the 1st Highams Park beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers joined with other groups in the district to camp, have fun and renew their promise.
2015 has been a tremendous year for the Group – here are some of the highlights:
Another massively successful Family Hog Roast in September to round off a superb summer. I want to say that watching the kids charge about is a bit like watching pigs in poo, but I suspect that’s a bit disrespectful to the pig. This day would not happen without the Morl family, Leigh, Tom and James. They are legends.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our annual St Georges day parade from Walthamstow Town Hall to Lloyd Park. We hope you enjoyed the games and singing. It was inspiring to see so many awards being presented. There are some great photos here.
